Every win in WikiRacing quietly checks itself against 12 unlockable badges — some reward speed, some reward showing up, and one rewards actually being good at ranked duels. Here's what each one takes, grouped by what they're actually testing.
These four are the ones players brag about. Lightning ⚡ needs a finish under 30 seconds, Sniper 🎯 needs 2 clicks or fewer, and Speedrunner 🚀 needs both at once — under a minute and 4 clicks or less. Perfectionist ✨ is the rarest of the four: a win in exactly 1 click, which usually means the target was linked directly from the very first article you saw, more lucky pairing than pure skill.
These three track pure volume, no other condition attached: On Fire 🔥 at 10 games, Veteran 🎖️ at 50, Centurion 💯 at 100. They're the only badges that reward simply sticking with the game — no fast time, no lucky path, just enough races logged over enough sessions.
Dedicated 📅 asks for 7 completed daily challenges — not necessarily 7 in a row, just 7 total, so missing a day here and there doesn't reset any progress. It's the badge most directly tied to the daily challenge's whole design: a small habit that adds up if you keep coming back.
Challenger 🎮 only needs one completed themed challenge, so it's usually the first "extra" badge past the basics. Polyglot 🌍 is different: it needs games played in 3 separate UI languages, which means actually switching the language selector and racing on a different Wikipedia edition, not just changing a setting and switching back.
Champion 🏆 stands apart from the other 11 — it's not tied to any single win, but to your ELO rating crossing 1,500 in ranked duels. Every other badge can be earned in a single well-timed session; this one only comes from sustained wins against real opponents in the ranked queue.
Your profile shows a full grid of all 12 — earned ones lit up, locked ones greyed out — and so does everyone else's public profile, so you can see exactly which ones a friend is still missing. Open your profile to see which ones you already have, then go chase the one you don't.
